Dreamforce day 1

Happy hour with RSM at Per Diem

Day 1 of Dreamforce 2023 is in the books, and it was a huge success! We enjoyed a lot of interesting conversations with Trailblazers, customers, and partners, and we’re excited to keep the momentum going over the next few days.

One of the highlights of day 1 was the happy hour we co-sponsored with RSM at Per Diem. The atmosphere was lively and relaxed, and we made some great connections.

Video: Q&A with Max Rudman

During the happy hour, our CEO Max Rudman participated in an enlightening Q&A with Bryan Boroughf, Director of Partner Alliances at RSM, and Paul Morgis, RSM’s Manager of Management Consulting. Before Prodly, Max founded SteelBrick, which was later bought by Salesforce and is now known as Salesforce CPQ.

One of the topics they discussed was what metrics to look at in a Salesforce CPQ project. As Max said, “It really depends on what you want to measure. Maybe you have a problem with discounting, the length of the sales cycle, or the tax rate of certain products. The great thing about automation like Salesforce CPQ is that you can now easily control and measure these things.”

Max also advised that it’s a good idea to phase your project and pick the metric that’s most important to your business. This will help you maximize your investment—plus, it keeps everyone motivated.
