How to watch Dreamforce online

Watching Dreamforce virtual is super easy. All you need is a stable internet connection and a device with web access such as your laptop, phone, or tablet. Then follow these instructions step by step:

  1. Go to Salesforce+, and log into your Trailblazer account.
  2. If you don’t have an account yet, click on the icon at the top right of the page. In the menu that appears, select “Trailblazer Account.” This brings you to the login page where you can sign up for free. Enter your email address, country, and state, and agree to the T&Cs. Next, you’ll receive an email with a verification code. Enter the code, provide your name, company, role, and relationship to Salesforce, and you’ll be logged into your new account.
  3. Once you’re logged in, you’re on the Salesforce plus landing page where you can register for Dreamforce. Salesforce recommends preregistering so you can enjoy a personalized experience. (Don’t worry—it’s free, even if you aren’t a Salesforce customer.)
  4. On this page, there are five tabs: About, Schedule, My Schedule, Speakers, and On Demand. Navigate through the tabs to learn about the Dreamforce lineup and sessions, as well as the on-demand series.
  5. In the “Schedule” tab, you can add live sessions to “My Schedule” by bookmarking them. You can even send yourself a calendar reminder. Refer to “My Schedule” to see what you’ve planned each day.
  6. In the “On Demand” tab, you’ll find the different Dreamforce series by topic, role, and industry. You can bookmark these for easy reference, as well.

Tips and tricks for making the most of Dreamforce online

Now you know the practical how-to, there are some additional tips and tricks that can help you maximize your Dreamforce online experience:

  • Time management: Although Dreamforce is pretty much nonstop for three days in a row, some sessions overlap. Not to worry—many of them are repeated later or the next day. Plus, some will be available in the on-demand series. Just keep a close eye on the schedule, and you won’t miss a thing.
  • Network: Yes, you can network during Dreamforce, even if you’re not there! Salesforce+ lets you ask experts questions and chat in real time with other attendees. It might be a different experience than meeting people at a happy hour, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be fun and help you advance.
  • Take notes: Keep a notepad or note app handy, because when the gems start dropping, you’ll want to jot them down.
  • Hot tip: Big fan of the Foo Fighters—and bummed you’re not at Dreamfest? Check this out: Even if you can’t join the party live, you can still rock out virtually with your fellow Trailblazers! Bookmark the event so you don’t forget. It’s from 10:15pm to 11pm on Wednesday, September 13.
